Engineering Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support RF application engineering activities through design, test, verification, and assembly of prototype RF test assemblies.
• Characterization of RF evaluation boards for communication and defense applications.
• Setup, calibrate and perform high power RF and small signal S-parameter measurements.
• Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy performance short falls.
• Knowledgeable in the use of vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters and specialized test apparatus for the characterization of power amplifiers and passive devices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or a related discipline with 3-5 years of RF experience required.
• Proficient with test equipment including RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters.
• Skilled at soldering SMT components down to 0402, including QFN packages and construct various test fixtures as needed.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a team player.
